It Begins In You: A Prose of Encouragement
Each day is yours to take and make.
I know it doesn’t always feel this way. I know it’s hard sometimes. I know the struggle is real. I struggle too.
And yet I also know there is so much beauty when we take the time to find our rose colored glasses and notice all the places our world is painted in color.
There is good happening when we cultivate good by finding the joy that exists.
There is poetry, music, art and color. Tree tones, river rhythms, sun’s red rises and saffron sets.
There is strange beauty in a grief, which can teach us how hard we loved.
There is strange peace in a chaos, which can teach us to find our center in life’s mess.
There is strange wisdom in not knowing, which can teach us to reach and grow into bigger perspective.
It is there waiting: life’s buried treasures and hidden moments and grains of sand, which grist pearls out of life’s rub.
We must learn to become like the pearl and not the sand. To shine our solar light, even in dark skies. To allow our unknowings to compass us into new terrain of soulful being.
To never forget we are endless beings of love having a human experience and allow that divine truth to anchor us in the light.
To work with our shadows constructively by witnessing, allowing and finding grace for anything within us that has not reconciled to the Truth of Love.
We can do this work. I know we can. We must do this work in order to become bigger.
We must flip the script on life’s hardships and use our intentions, words and voices to write a new narrative on being.
Start with yourself. Start with this day. Start with who you want to be and how you want to experience yourself.
Start with joy. Start with light. Start with authenticity.
Start with vulnerability. Start with real. Start with wholeness, which accepts all feeling states.
Start with peace. Start with love. Start with seeing the best in yourself.
Start. Just start.
This is your day.
